Dr. Motivate Youth Leadership Program - Summer 2024

Program Summary:

For elementary, middle, and high school students aged 8-18 (as of September 1st). Year-round program with fall, winter, spring, and summer sessions. Once a month virtual leadership mentor session. In-person meeting experience once a quarter (four times a year). Quarterly In-person meeting experience will include one or more of the following: leadership development workshops, outdoor education activities, community service outings and fun hangout program experiences.

  • Are scholarship and discounts available?: - Limited scholarships are available for families in need of financial assistance. - Multiple child discounts are available. - Families must meet specific criteria to qualify for a discount: * Is a HUD Section 8 or subsidized housing recipient * Receives SNAP (Food Stamps), CHIP, or WIC * Receives Medicaid * Enrolling Multiple Children to receive a Siblings Discount
  • What type of fundraisers are required?: - Each family is required to participate in two fundraisers per year. - Minimum fundraising amount per family is $200 per fundraiser. - If a fundraiser gives 50% back to the program, a family would need to raise $400 to meet the $200 minimum. - If a family raises $180 during an 80% fundraiser, they will need to pay $20 to meet the minimum fundraiser requirement.
  • How often does the program meet?: - Once a month virtual leadership mentor session. - In-person meeting experience once a quarter (four times a year). - Quarterly In-person meeting experience will include one or more of the following: leadership development workshops, outdoor education activities, community service outings and fun hangout program experiences.
  • What is the refund policy?: - Refunds are not available once a participant has started. - All refund requests must be approved by Dr. Brown. Please contact him at 832-264-0122 for questions. - A $10 fee will be assessed for all chargebacks.
  • Can girls and boys enroll?: - Girls and Boys can enroll in the program. - For elementary, middle, and high school students aged 8-18 (as of September 1st).
